THE EU-NATO STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OVER THE NATO STRATEGIC CONCEPT AND EUROPEAN SECURITY STRATEGY

Considering the dynamic of events in such a very complex security environment we face now, there is an obvious need for an appropriate approach in accordance with the immediate and serious impact but with the trends and echoes spread immediately all over, too. Nobody in the world is safe and protected against such dangerous risks and challenges of our days, so the answer to be address must be a prompt, credible and efficient one. But such kind of answer poses high standards, a lot of efforts, complex strategies and impressive resources. Global issues requests global answers. That is why during the last years big voices of the security and defense field demanded for a coordinated efforts and comprehensive approach. In this respect, two large and very active international institutions, European Union (EU) and North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) decided ten years ago to initiate, develop and promote a partnership at the strategic level in crisis management.
