摘要：

A 72-year-old woman under longterm low-dose aspirin therapy was admitted for low back pain with pain and motor loss in the territory of the femoral nerve, which started after an episode of vomiting. Magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated an epidural hematoma extending from T12 to L5. The pain and motor loss resolved spontaneously, Epidural hematoma is a rare lesion but should be looked for in patients with acute spinal symptoms precipitated by coughing, vomiting, or defecation, particularly if there is a history of current treatment with anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents, Surgery is usually required, although some patients recover fully without treatment.
