摘要
We present a theoretical model for a Thermal Desorption Spectroscopy (TDS) experiment in which simultaneous processes of diffusion in the bulk and reaction on the surface are considered. The model is used to study the interplay between these processes, particularly focusing on the identification of the rate-limiting step. We also present an original TDS experimental set-up and some preliminary measurements on Pd foils.
