摘要
Theory construction on qualitative data base is debating methodological issues of qualitative data analysis. Growing interest among Russian sociologists for them, in author's opinion, is accompanied by weak spread of studies within this strategy. The issue of balance between qualitative and quantitative analysis strategies has been raised by sociologists, however, since early XX century. Today. discourse regarding place and role of qualitative data is widening. The article follows up rise of qualitative data use in sociology focussing on historical continuity in two strategies of this analysis - analytical induction and 'grounded theory'.
