摘要
Teicoplanin, a glycopeptide antibiotic recently introduced in clinical practice, is produced by Actinoplanes teichomyceticus as a complex of several active substances [1]. The new antibiotic-producing strain A 27-2-4 with productivity at 10 times higher then initial strain ATCC 31121 of A. teichomyceticus was obtained using induced-mutagenesis. The activity of antibiotics in culture broth was determined by high-perfornance liquid chromatography and biotest. Size zone inhibition by biotest correlated with determined by HPLC concentration of antibiotic.
