Development of deinking waste paper quality in the last years and view in the future

The proportional composition of the deinking recovered paper at Sachsen Papier Eilenburg GmbH for summer 1997 was determined in intensive investigations of the incoming recovered paper. Beside the amount of old newspapers with 46,5% and old magazines with 38% the amount of non paper parts and white and brown board were analysed with 5,4%. Carrying out further investigations of newspapers and magazines in 1995 and 1997 a steadily increase in ash were found in the different paper grades. The composition of mechanical fibers, hardwood and softwood chemical pulps are shown for the different paper grades for 1995 and 1997. The development of the ash in deinking recovered paper is shown from 1994 to october 1997.
