An application of stochastic estimation to diagnostics of hereditary metabolism diseases

Possible approaches to the design of algorithms of computer-aided diagnostics are described in this paper. Computer-aided diagnostics is used for diagnostics of hereditary metabolism diseases and the algorithms are based on methods of stochastic estimation. Two practical approaches to the solution of the problem are considered. The first approach is within the scope of classical stochastic estimation scheme and the second approach is based on the probabilistic guarantee approach. Results of the efficiency estimation of the suggested algorithms are given.
