Facile one step solvothermal synthesis and high visible light photocatalytic property of flower-like Bi2O3/BiOBr microspheres

摘要
We used facile one step solvothermal method to fabricate Bi2O3/BiOBr microspheres with porous flower-like structure which has good photocatalytic degradation ability to Rhodamine B. Meanwhile, the active species during photocatalytic reaction were explored. The results showed that the catalytic activity of Bi2O3/BiOBr was higher than that of BiOBr. After 140 min' irradiation with 7 W LED lamp, the degradation efficiency of the Bi2O3/BiOBr photocatalyst reached 91.4%. The larger specific surface area and higher visible light utilization both improved the photocatalytic activity. center dot O-2 and h(+) played a major role in the reaction process.
