摘要
The present study strives to contribute in the development of theory in TQM with emphasis in crosscultural research. The study uses the case study method to explore specific issues related to TQM implementation as they are affected by work-related cultural differences between organizations in Mexico and the United States. The study focuses on how and why differences in common cultural dimensions condition the adoption of specific managerial initiatives (i.e. TQM) and ultimately may facilitate or hinder its implementation.
