Determination of volatile organohalogen compounds and petroleum hydrocarbons in rain water and snow by means of gas chromatography

摘要：
Volatile organic compounds in precipitation (rain, snow) samples were collected and analyzed from December 1995 to May 1997, at five sampling sites situated in the city of Gdansk (Poland). Precipitation gathered for one month were combined as one individual sample. Volatile organohalogen compounds and petroleum hydrocarbons were determined in samples. Analyses were carried out by means of direct aqueous injection-gas chromatography (DAI-GC) or purge and trap (PT) technique after isolation and enrichment of analytes. As a result of conducted studies the presence of substances mentioned above in precipitation was ascertained. Different levels of concentrations were connected with the sampling place and the sampling time.
