Multi-Criteria Optimization of the Selection of Transportations Means

In practice, a decision maker often meets with tasks that require multi-criteria decision-making. The paper presents an example of using proprietary methods for optimizing the selection of forklift trucks serving the storage of goods and materials. The main assumptions of the method which at the same time contribute to its assessment were described in the work. The obtained results of the decision variants ranking were compared with the calculation results obtained with the use of Bellinger's method. The advantage of the presented optimization method is that it is easy to use and the effective calculation algorithm used in the described method does not require complicated and tedious calculations.
