E-Health challenges, opportunities and experiences of developing countries

摘要
Nowadays information systems and web technologies have changed quality of services and people's lifestyle. Among these systems and technologies, Electronic Health is a new and efficient method for providing medical and healthcare services in the society and developing relations between specialists, patients and all of health system users. Unfortunately, although E-health is not a new phenomenon for it is introduced in most of special medicine areas, this technology is still considered out of the main stream of healthcare process. Particularly, Developing Countries are confronting with many problems in the healthcare and medical services such as financial needs, resources, proficiency, lack of physician and other healthcare professionals. In this paper we discuss the importance of E-health and related Opportunities in Developing Countries. We are also going to deal with Challenges about applying Telemedicine in these countries. The result has been presented in the new model called "e-Health Challenges in Developing Countries". Furthermore, after studying and classification of available strategies, we will address the e-Health Strategy model for Developing Countries. Finally, some Experiences of these countries are going to be mentioned in this area.
