摘要
Failing costs is a commonplace. Taking the risk to strand is a principle of innovation. With the example of the medical device sector we are discussing here if Europe changes the global line-up to its own disadvantage. With simplified model assumptions we carve out that those global markets benefit that exhibit the lowest cost for the stage of failing assuming other boundary conditions being comparable. The objective should be, not to overload stranding by continuously increasing cost, otherwise innovation gets penalized.
