摘要
Electropolishing of Alloy 600 can be achieved in nitric acid-hydroxyacetic acid mixture. The analysis of the diffusive mass transport in the viscous layer during the electropolishing of Alloy 600 was made thanks to rotating disk electrode measurements. We studied the influence of electrolyte temperature, its composition and additives (Ni2+ and NO3- ions). The polishing phenomenon results from water concentration depletion. We give no conclusion about film formation resulting from saturation phenomenon.
