摘要
Gestational diabetes mellitus it is a common medical complication of pregnancy, it is defined as any degree of glucose intolerance with onset or first recognition during gestation. Obesity is a worldwide epidemic, it is considered a most common medical condition in women of reproductive age, during pregnancy has short term and long term adverse consequences for both mother and child, it is caused insulin resistance. The aim of this study was the assessment of resistin hormone and oxidative stress marker changes hi Gestational diabetes mellitus and obese pregnant women hi Misan province.Materials and methods: The study included (60) pregnant women, aged (25 -35) years. divided into two groups (30 women/group).First group: Gestational diabetes mellitus pregnant women. Second group: obese pregnant women. The study has from November 2018 to February 2019. Diagnosed parameters were done by ELISA, and Cobas e411.Results: The resistin hormone levels increased significantly (p <= 0.05) in all trimesters within the second group in comparison with the first group. The insulin hormone levels increased significantly (p <= 0.05) in all trimesters within all groups, and increased in second group than tirst. The 8 -isoprostane levels increased significantly (p <= 0.05) in all trimesters within all groups, and increased in second group than first group. Conclusions: Results of the current study showed clearly the following conclusion all parameters increase in obese pregnant women than Gestational diabetes mellitus.
