摘要
The partial ulnar nerve transfer showed more rapid in the regeneration of the biceps rather than the other methods; interpositional nerve grafting and intercostals nerve transfer. That method was superior also in the final elbow flexion. However, a deficit of motor function in the partial ulnar nerve transfer continued more than one year postoperatively. The results of accessory nerve transfer to the suprascapular was stable and excellent in shoulder function, although those of the interpositional nerve grafting was unstable and poor. From our results, the combination of nerve transfers; the partial ulnar nerve to the musculocutaneous and the accessory nerve to the suprascapular will be recommended for the brachial plexus palsy with upper root injuries.
