A novel 5.8GHz circularly polarized rectenna for microwave power transmission

摘要
This paper reports a novel circularly polarized rectenna designed and measured at 5.8GHz for application involving microwave power transmission (WPT). A truncated comer square patch microstnp antenna used for the rectenna was developed. The axial ratio achieved was 0.3dB at 5.82GHz. A silicon Schottky barrier diode is employed as the. rectifying device. Measured conversion efficiency results of the rectenna proved that the rectenna is suitable for component of the WPT system.
