摘要：

This paper deals with the study of alluvial soils in Eastern Georgia. Alluvial soils have been studied on the floodplain terraces of the Kura River, which is the largest river in the Eastern Georgia. Zonal soils have been also investigated for comparison. The alluvial soils are found to differ markedly from the zonal soils, i.e., they are chernozem and meadow cinnamonic soil, which makes it impossible to distinguish them within one soil type.
