摘要
FIAPP (Fully integrated and automated project process) is an acronym suggested by the research committee of the Construction Industry Institute, This paper briefly describes the relationship of FIAPP and the three-dimensional computer model that results when an industrial process or commercial power project is designed in three-dimensions. This includes what is now being called "4D CAD". This piper describes some of the conclusions da eloped in a three-year research project into FIAPP and 3D CAD and how the three-dimensional computer design must be planned before hand to make the model usable for 4D CAD. It also describes some of the results observed in the construction of an Air Separation Plant in Baytown, Texas.
