摘要
Harrison & Gerhz [AJ, 103, 243 (1992)] noted that IRAS had apparently detected a few quiescent dwarf novae at 100 mu m. This possible detection was intriguing as dwarf novae were not anticipated to be emitters of such long-wavelength radiation. In order to confirm or place limits on this emission, we have undertaken a reanalysis of the IRAS database for four of their ''100 mu m'' dwarf novae. We have also made preliminary sub-mm radio observations of three additional dwarf novae. We find null detections for all our sources in both the IRAS database and in the sub-mm radio range.
