摘要
In the context of research carried out using the Database of the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (Banco de Dados da Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertacoes - BDTD), we can see that research in education is currently a diverse and complex field. The objective of this article is to analyze the perspectives from which the educational field has been investigated and their relation to characteristics of the emerging paradigm, which values dialogic, intersubjective and transdisciplinary relations of knowledge. This methodology was developed based on a critical and interpretive interest, presenting a review of theses and dissertations produced in Graduate Programs in Education between 2012 and 2016, with an evaluation of 6 and 7 by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Coordenacao de Aperfeicoamento de Pessoal de Nivel Superior - CAPES). The documents in educational research have been analyzed considering their methodological approaches, types of research, strategies for collecting information and strategies for analyzing information. The results reveal an interest in analyzing educational phenomena in a holistic manner, superseding the technical and instrumental tradition, towards a pertinent and systemic view of research on educational activities.
