摘要
Two roughness different surfaces were designed for researching antifriction. and self-repairing performances of the 20nm copper additive with good dispersion property in the lubricating oil. The tribological performances and self-repairing mechanics were researched. it was indicated that adding the nanometer copper additive in the lubricating oil can decrease friction coefficient and reduce wear extent. The effect of antifriction and resistance to wear is remarkable for the smooth surface, the friction coefficient is reduced 29%, the wear trace width is reduced 34%. And the nanometer copper additive has the good self-repairing function, too. The self-repairing effect on the smooth surface or the slightly damaged surface is better than on the rough one. The effect is determined by the degree of frictional wear reduced and self-repairing validity.
