摘要
The present text raises some questions related to the historical and political period in Brazil in the 1980s, from the perspective of the peripheries of large urban centers, highlighting the expressive importance of the social and cultural movements that emerged at this time. We also emphasize the Hip-Hop movement as an action against hegemony in a society marked by the inferiorization of peoples, and the marginalization of those who do not fit this, or that social stereotype. We present HipHop as an active element, as a cry to legitimize a territory, and the people that inhabit it. In order to conduct such reflections, we seek sources such as Touraine (2006), Hall (2014), Castells (2006) among other authors who are important.
