摘要
In this paper, propagation of electromagnetic (EM) waves in the solar spatially inhomogeneous plasma is described numerically. Waves are generated by an electron beam of finite size, which (for simulation purpose) is divided into elementary cells, and the contribution to the intensity of the signal from each cell is calculated independently. Superposition of the elementary signals results in the complete signal profile, which can be interpreted as a profile of the Type III bursts. We determine various parameters of the received signals, taking into account variation of the group velocity with the coordinate.
