Ecological and capital hierarchy in the production of a peripheral space of global capitalism

This paper aims to analyze the capitalization of nature and territory in Andalgala, peripheral space of global capitalism but functional to it by the development of mining activities on a large scale, mining on time. From a decolonial approach, we will water the production of a space crossed by different hierarchies (ecological and capital) associated with a colonial / modern power pattern that has systematically denied the coexistence of different space-time. From a qualitative methodology supported by the field work, we intend to contribute to clarify problems common to the region related to the appropriation of geostrategic resources, fostering collective reflection on a common problem to different geographies in Latin America.
