Design analysis of a sapphire loaded cavity for a spaceborne hydrogen maser

摘要
TE011 mode of a sapphire cavity for H-maser was analytically solved, and the quality factor and filling factor was calculated as well as oscillation power and stability. Based on the analysis, a sapphire cavity was developed and its measured characteristics agreed very well with the analysis.
