摘要
Some of the factors affecting ink lay in UV flexographic printing have been studied using a statistical design of experiments. The image analysis technique is utilized to characterize the solid print lay (leveling) on two substrates, plastic film and paper board, with different surface topography. Graphical optimization demonstrates how anilox engravings and printing pressure settings can be selected for improved ink lay while avoiding excessive pressure that may damage gray scale reproduction.
