Anodic Catalysts for Direct Formic Acid Fuel Cells

摘要
In order to improve the electrocatalytic activity of Pt based formic acid oxidation, the PMo(12) and Na(2)MoO(4) modified Pt electrodes were prepared and their electrocatalytic effects on the formic acid oxidation were studied. The electrocatalytic activities for the formic acid oxidation were evaluated with the electrochemical techniques of CV. The result shows that the PMo(12) and Na(2)MoO(4) modified Pt electrode can increase the activity of formic acid. In addition when adding NiSO(4) solution, the PMo(12) modified Pt electrodes can increase the activity of formic acid oxidation.
