On Efficient Utilization of Transceivers for Shared Restoration in Flexible Grid Optical Networks

摘要
We propose transceiver sharing schemes at ROADM nodes for shared restoration in flexible grid optical networks in order to improve the utilization of transceivers for backup paths. The flexible ROADM architecture with a pool of transceivers achieves the highest utilization.
