摘要
Evaluating the influence of vehicular speed on the memory characteristics of fading channels in high-speed railway communications is a key issue for transmission scheme and protocol design of vehicular communications. In this paper, we propose a quantitative method based on Markov chain order estimation to evaluate the effect of vehicular speed on the memory characteristics of fading channel. The influence of different methods of channel state partition on estimating the Markov order is also considered. The Bayesian information criterion is adopted to determine the order of the Markov chain.
