摘要：
It is a forward position question in the field of structures and earthquake engineering to assess seismic performances of existing RC structures. Based on the analysis of the durability and seismic performances for the existing RC structures, this paper given out the principles of obtaining the characteristic values of seismic force in the subsequent using period. Analyzing the model and performances of hysterestic restoring force, seismic response and characteristics of seismic assessment, the seismic performances based on the durability damage of the existing RC structures were discussed in this study, and the preliminary methods of seismic assessment were presented.
