摘要
Recently, the wide range of applications of photonic crystal fiber is has been enlighten in the terahertz regime. We have designed a multiple air rings based photonic crystal fiber (MR-PCF) to achieve large value transmittance in the terahertz (THz) frequency. The proposed design is the combination of the five air rings waveguide at the center of conventional five layer photonic crystal fiber. The investigated results show that the different geometry position of the air rings varies the transmittance, field intensity and coupled power. The experimental results are accomplished by using a finite domain and time-domain method.
