摘要
This paper presents Thyristor Controlled Series This er resents Thyristor Controlled Reactance Compensation by Adjustable Coupling, a novel method of thyristor controlled series compensation. The concrete device connection scheme and line power regulation characteristic of this method are obtained by analyzing the controlled reactance characteristic and adjustable principle of Thyristor Controlled Reactance by Adjustable Coupling. This paper analyzes not only the regularity of the concrete device's steady state current, voltage and the needed capacity with the variation of parameters but also the transient characteristic in the course of switching on/off the thyristors, on the basis of which the optimal switching controlling is obtained. A great deal of calculation data indicate that this method has good power regulation characteristic and transient characteristic. Compared with Thyristor Controlled Series Capacitor(TCSC), the total capacity of the concrete device can be considerably reduced if this method is used to regulate power flow. The result of the basic experiments proves the correctness of its theoretical analysis. In a word, this method can regulate the line reactance independently and quickly without high harmonic, and it is simple, economical and feasible in terms of thyristor controlled series compensation.
