摘要
This paper identifies the innovation capabilities in the biotechnology sector of BioCubaFarma. Seven types of capacities are assumed for a better understanding of innovation capacities: learning capacity, R+D+i, resource allocation, organisation, production, marketing and strategic planning. The study shows the essential elements of the most critical capabilities and draws conclusions about the most important aspects of the process of conversion to biotechnology for companies in Cuba.
