摘要
Healthcare services is one of the key sectors targeted to reduce the energy consumption hence reduce the carbon emission. Through the introduction of Energy Performance Contract (EPC), demand for the energy performance verification and measurement analysis has rapidly increased. This research explores two methods in quantifying the energy avoidance. The first method, which use the annualized energy consumption shows that the annual energy consumption increases by 4.78%. The second method which using the measurement and verification procedure, shows the different result of energy avoidance, where the annual energy avoided was decreased by 7.32%. This result indicate that independent variables have a significant impact to determine the amount of energy avoidance.
