Analysis of electronic health training for university students

The aim of this study was to analyze e-health competence in students of a Spanish public university. The participants included 1702 university students. The general use of the Internet and competence in e-health of these students was measured by the Spanish version of the eHEALS. Competence in e-health of university students was moderate. The results of the analysis of Student's t for independent samples showed statistically significant differences in the level of competence in eHealth for the group of university degree related to health (nursing, psychology, physical activity and sport science) with respect the group formed by the other university degree. It seems necessary to try to increase competence in e-health in university of all degrees, and it would help to use resources more effectively about health on the Internet. To end, they should promote various measures to improve competence in e-health of university students.
