摘要
The coordinates of various disciplines with basic theme of information science, technology, and communication are discussed. The importance of information visualization as a medium of transforming data into visual and understandable form has been accepted by university campuses and research institutes globally. Communicative clothing is getting recognized as the next generation of intelligent clothing, with communication being achieved between clothing and the wearer or between clothing and the external environment or people. Great innovations are happening in the textile sector due to coordinations across disciplines that offer incorporation of technology and textiles. Successful professionals in technical disciplines require abilities beyond technical competence to interpret complex and ambiguous situations, interact with experts from other specialties and disciplines. Creativity and inspiration are essential elements of the fashion-design process.
