摘要
In this paper, we propose use of histogram equalization for color heritage image enhancement, and aim at improve the contrast of the color heritage image. First, the color heritage image is divided into three channels of red, green, and blue. Then these channels were respectively execute histogram equalization, and finally to merge all channels. Experimental results show that this algorithm can effectively improve the overall brightness of the heritage image, and enhance the contrast of the heritage image. (C) 2015 Elsevier GmbH.
