摘要
Determination of the power spectral density (PSD) of typhoon winds is of crucial importance in the accurate buffeting analysis of large-expanse structures in time domain. Different from our traditional knowledge to boundary-layer winds, high-frequency subranges beyond the inertial subrange are observed in the PSD of typhoon winds during recent field measurements, and the obtained wind velocities show significant nonstationary features. However, studies on the spectral modelling of typhoons considering both high-frequency subrange and non stationary features are considerably limited. In such a case, this paper presents a study on the analysis and modelling of the longitudinal evolutionary power spectral density (EPSD) of typhoon winds. High-frequency subranges are examined via spectral analyses of typhoon wind samples. To address the faced limitations, an efficient method is developed to determine the EPSD model with the high-frequency subrange. Based on this method, the desired EPSD model can be efficiently and automatically acquired without additional subjective operations as long as the inertial subrange in the traditional PSD is in advance estimated. The comparison between the obtained EPSD model and measured EPSD of typhoon wind samples verifies the effectiveness of the presented approach.
