摘要
The present work is an experimental investigation on the effect of the turbulence intensity variation in a staggered tube bundle equipped with grooves at 90 degrees and 270 degrees. The experiments were carried out in a subsonic wind tunnel. Three Reynolds numbers and three turbulence levels were tested. The pressure distributions and drag forces were measured. Surface visualizations were also performed. The obtained results show that the turbulence intensity for different Reynolds number has an influence on the reduction of the drag coefficient.
