摘要
With the rapid development of China's urban economy and the acceleration of urbanization process, the development of urban passenger transport has entered a key period. As of 2017, the number of public steam and electric buses, rail vehicles, taxis and rental cars was 651,200, 28,707, 1,395,800 and 210,500, respectively. No matter in quantity and quality, urban passenger transport has been greatly improved compared with previous years. However, problems such as the contradiction between supply and demand, management difficulties, lag in facilities construction, poor connection of various passenger transport modes, and imperfect related laws and regulations have gradually emerged. These problems indicate that the development of China's urban passenger transport must establish a relatively complete urban passenger transport system consisting of subways, light rail, passenger cars, taxis and other rapid rail transit, and develop in an intelligent direction. This paper finally points out the general development direction of urban passenger transport in China based on the development conditions of the four types of urban passenger transport in China.
