摘要：
Due to the frequent and hard-to-predict topological changes of mobile ad hoc networks, designing effective. and adaptive multicast routing is a challenging issue. Ant-Based Multicast Routing Algorithm in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks was proposed in this paper, which was based on ant algorithm and network delay. Forward Ant Packets and Backward Ant packets were periodically deployed to discover new paths and update the routing. This approach tried to use the basic idea of ant algorithm to make communication more effective and adaptive. Simulations showed that this new algorithm could satisfy mobile ad hoc multicast routing requirements, and become a better solution for multicast routing problem in mobile ad hoc networks.
