摘要
New instrument for measuring the profession orientation of a person through assessing the profession intentions of a person is presented in the paper. The assumption that expressed interest and profession interest are two different constructs and that assessing the expressed interest in the sense of intention to practice the certain kind of activity can be as well as useful as assessing profession interests represents the theoretical starting point. Questionnaire of profession intentions what is the name of the new questionnaire came into existence as a hybrid instrument - by using the items of more questionnaires of profession interests and simultaneously by its reformulating in the sense to express the intentions of person to practice the questioned kind of activity. By the help of explorative factor analysis seven factors were extracted representing seven spheres of profession intentions. The psychometric characteristics of items, the values of reliability and values of one of aspects of construct validity of questionnaire scales are documented. The applicability of measuring the profession intentions is discussed and the further procedure of questionnaire development is suggested.
