Scheduling and routing algorithms for bluetooth scatternets

摘要
One of the fundamental problems in Bluetooth scatternets is how to schedule slaves of master. Based on scheduling algorithm AFP (Adaptive Flow-based Polling) [3], we propose a new scheduling algorithm RTSA (Residual Time-based Scheduling Algorithm). Simulation results show that RTSA outperforms AFP in average delay and throughput of piconet. Based on RTSA, we present a new routing algorithm MSRT (Maximal Sum of Residual Time), and results of the experiment show that MSRT algorithm has lower average delay and higher average link utilization than DSR algorithm. Both the algorithms can be used for wireless sensor networks.
