摘要
Neuropsychological impairments in either visual perception or semantics can affect performance in object recognition tasks. This paper discusses some of the differences between perceptual and semantic impairments of object recognition in the context of evaluating the relevance of Rumiati, Humphreys, Riddoch, and Bateman's (1994) case study to Farah's (1991) hypothesis concerning visual object representation.
