摘要
The Affordable Care Act has accelerated the national dialogue around cost, quality, and value in the healthcare setting. Teams and team care are integral to caring for older people, but there is still insufficent evidence on how to best prepare new clinicians for team care and how to determine the right "dose" of team in any given clinical caregiving situation. Progress in measurement that helps us understand effective team composition in different care settings and team care outcomes for older adults is essential for making the value case.
