摘要
The variety of styles means that a range of methods is needed in order to pinpoint the relevant, characteristic issues in each case. Stylistic level analysis means firstly that the levels of language description are utilised. In this respect studies are becoming more and more substantial as linguistics progresses. In order to capture texts in their entirety, however, additional functional levels are required. In the first part of this article, Kallmeyer and Schutze's model of conversational levels is used as a starting point to examine various stylistic level models and combine them into a comprehensive model. In the second part, a simple text consisting of language and pictures is described within the framework of this model, and possible consequences for more complex texts are suggested.
