On the Conservation and Leisure Utilization of Industrial Heritage in Exhaustion of Resources Areas in China

Industrial heritage has the unique value of historical culture, education, aesthetics and leisure utilization. According to the level and type of industrial heritage, we can take the conservation and leisure utilization by museum mode, new wine in old bottles mode and creative transformation mode. At present, we should attach importance to the industrial archaeology research, establish the value appraisal system of industrial heritage as soon as possible, handle properly the contradiction between the protection of heritage value and the commercial development. By giving full play to the various forces, strengthen the efficiency of the conservation and leisure utilization of industrial heritage in exhaustion of resources areas.
