THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION IN THE CZECH-BAVARIAN BORDERLAND: A CONTRIBUTION TO ENHANCING OF THE EUROPEAN INTEGRATION IN TERMS THE OF GLOBAL ECONOMICS

Czech-Bavarian borderland is one of the EU regions that has been carrying out day-to-day policy of a good neighbourhood. From the economic point of view, it is, however, necessary to enhance the cross-border cooperation, so that this region could be competitive enough in a public competition of European regions. Due to those reasons, the cross-border collaboration has been supported in terms of the economic and social cohesion policies of the EU. It enhances European integration in the context of the global economics. If spatial information compatibility (such as statistics, developmental documents) is improved, it will strengthen mutual development of the Czech-Bavarian borderland even more significantly and efficiently.
