摘要：
Accurate staging is essential to the appropriate management of gastric cancer. The accuracy of and indications for cross-sectional imaging techniques are discussed in the context of their relationship to laparoscopic staging. CT scan and endoscopic ultrasound have become the primary means of preoperative tumor staging by virtue of their ability to demonstrate the extent of mural invasion, extraluminal tumor spread, and lymph node and distant metastases.
